Equal protection....

Gay Equality was the first TEA billboard, placed initially on I-40 at Sandy Ridge Road in Guilford County in April 2004 and moved to Greensboro's Battleground Avenue in June. Over 76,000 commuters and other travelers per day passed this sign in one of the two locations.

Now, the Gay Equality billboard has moved to Wendover Avenue at the Battleground Avenue bridge, and another was placed at  Hanes Mall at Stratford Road and Healy Drive in Winston-Salem.

TEA's billboard initiative was inspired by the work of South Carolina's Alliance for Full Acceptance (AFFA). Take a look at the Alliance's website for some of the other possibilities.
